8th MXS Munitions Flight locked and loaded during Freedom Shield 25

U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Candice Croes, 8th Maintenance Squadron conventional maintenance support craftsman, ties a munition strap to secure a training munition during Freedom Shield 25 at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, March 11, 2025. During FS25, the munitions flight, played an essential role in the maintenance and management of munitions storage and loading capabilities, ensuring seamless airpower for the Wolf Pack’s F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. Airmen assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing, under Seventh Air Force, participated in large-scale, realistic training to strengthen interoperability, reinforce the ROK-U.S. combined defense posture and increase combat readiness.
