8th MXS Munitions Flight locked and loaded during Freedom Shield 25

An 8th Maintenance Squadron patch is displayed on U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Alec Linn’s, 8th MXS conventional maintenance crew chief, uniform during Freedom Shield 25 at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, March 11, 2025. FS25 provided the munitions flight the opportunity to sharpen their warfighting skills through various routine readiness and agile combat employment scenarios. Airmen assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing, under Seventh Air Force, participated in large-scale, realistic training to strengthen interoperability, reinforce the ROK-U.S. combined defense posture and increase combat readiness.
