Wolf Pack operates out of Gwangju Air Base during Freedom Shield 25

Land mobile radios (LMRs) assigned to the 8th Communications Squadron sit ready for distribution in the tactical operations center (TOC) at Gwangju Air Base, Republic of Korea, March 13, 2025. LMRs provide the 8th Fighter Wing Airman who man the TOC the best way to communicate with the rest of the deployed force. The 8th FW deployed personnel to Gwangju AB in support of Freedom Shield 25, a defense-oriented exercise focused on fortifying response capabilities to safeguard security on the peninsula.
