Wolf Pack conducts close air support and personnel recovery training in the West Sea

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. James Divine, 8th Operations Group deputy commander and F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot, prepares his aircrew flight equipment (AFE) in advance of conducting a training mission at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 23, 2024. Several Kunsan F-16s conducted routine maritime close air support and personnel recovery training in the West Sea as part of their annual training and flying hours program. Training in a wide range of mission sets and environments ensures aircrew remain ready to integrate with joint partners and provide combat airpower wherever needed and is a critical part of Seventh Air Force’s “Fight Tonight” mission.
