U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Daniel Lara, 8th Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection craftsman, inputs information associated with a magnetic chip detector into a foreign material detection machine at Roesmin Nurjadin Air Force Base, Indonesia, June 15, 2023. As an NDI craftsman, Lara used a detection machine called to ensure foreign materials have not found their way into the engine oil of the F-16s being flown at Cope West 23 as a way of preventative maintenance.
