Wolf Pack supports Raptors for IRON SHADOW

Two F-22 Raptors assigned to the 525th Fighter Squadron out of Joint-Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, arrive at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Dec. 20, 2022. Departing from Kadena Air Base, Japan, the F-22s flew in to participate in the bilateral training event, IRON SHADOW, enabling U.S. and Republic of Korea Air Forces to strengthen their combined flying capabilities and practice air-to-air combat with various aerial teams. Participating in a supporting role, 8th Operations Group pilots had a unique opportunity to utilize the F-16 Fighting Falcon’s high maneuverability to battle against near-peer adversaries and provide a simulated opposing force for ROKAF players.
