Wolf Pack responds to dynamic active shooter training
Senior Airman Ulises Mejia, 8th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighter, provides medical treatment to Senior Airman Jacinta Krietzer, 8th Force Support Squadron commander support staff and simulated victim, during a routine active shooter training event at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Aug. 26, 2021. The 8th Fighter Wing Inspector General team organized the routine event to test base first responders in an active shooter scenario. The 8th SFS’ defenders and Military Working Dog team, the 8th Civil Engineer Squadron firefighters, the 8th Medical Group ambulance service technicians and the Air Force Office of Special Investigations Detachment 613 responded to the scene, neutralized simulated suspects, treated simulated victims and searched the scene for further threats.
