Misawa Airmen equip fighter pilots for survival
U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Danny Lo, an Aircrew Flight Equipment journeyman with the 35th Operation Support Squadron, tailors a life preserver to Capt. Miklos Preysz, the bravo flight commander with the 14th Fighter Squadron, at Misawa Air Base, Japan, March 8, 2016. Each piece of equipment is specifically tailored to every pilot to maximize comfort and operational use. The life preserver serves as a flotation device if the pilot crashes or is ejected in an area around water. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Deana Heitzman)
