Kunsan entrusts F-16s to crew chiefs

Crew chiefs from the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron wait for their pilots at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Oct. 4, 2013. Forty-four maintainers were entrusted with F-16 Fighting Falcons during the 2013 Dedicated Crew Chief Ceremony. All 44 Airmen voluntarily took responsibility of their aircraft. A dedicated crew chief is the last to see the pilot go, the first to receive them and ensures the aircraft is prepared to complete its mission. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Armando A.
