Teaming up to move munitions
Airmen from both the 8th Maintenance Squadron and the 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron work to together to prepare crates of munitions to be loaded onto tractor-trailers during a peninsula-wide munitions realignment at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 26, 2014. Spraying the crates down before loading was done to prevent the introduction of foreign agricultural materials into other parts of the world. The realignment efforts allow the 8th Fighter Wing to better meet operational requirements by decreasing periodic inspection requirements, munition container repairs and re-warehousing.
