Making the essentials for life
Staff Sgt. William Stell inspects the light bulb on a reverse osmosis water purification unit, or ROWPU, to see if it is operational during a systems inspection at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, July 30, 2009. This inspection ensured that all of the water purification systems were operational. The ROWPU purifies water and is capable of producing 20,000 gallons of clean water each day. Sergeant Stell is a water and fuels systems maintainer assigned to the 8th Civil Engineer Squadron. . (U.S. Air Force Photo/Senior Airman Jonathan Steffen)
