Kunsan's propulsion flight
KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea-- Senior Airman Chace Eck, 8th Maintenance Squadron, checks out an F-16 Fighting Falcon engine Sept. 2. Airman Eck is aerospace propulsion journeymen assigned to the propulsion flight. They provide and service engines to allow continuous flying operations. While inspecting engines the propulsion flight generally looks for dents, nicks and missing blades occurring from foreign objects. Kunsan's propulsion flight has completed 5,704 engine inspections, 15 engine rebuilds and eight phase inspections that contributed to a 99 percent engine pass rate.
