Red Air Support
A pilot from the 80th Fighter Squadron F-16 returns to Kunsan Air Base after a week long deployment to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan on May 25. Pilots from the 80th FS flew dissimilar aircraft sorties as opposing forces, commonly known as red air, for Marine Corps aviators flying the F/A-18 Hornet. The sorties are valuable upgrade and continous training for pilots within the two units. (U.S. Air Force Photo by Staff Sergeant Darcie Ibidapo.)
