Remembering those who have fallen

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Kunsan's Base Honor Guard fires the 21 gun salute during the September 11 Patriot Day Ceremony on Sept. 11.The ceremony is Kunsan's way of acknowledging the courageous firefighters, police officers, emergency responders and others who risked their lives to save the victims of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The ceremony also paid tribute to the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces who have served in the military whether deployed or at home station since these events.
