'Breaking ground'

KUNSAN AIR BASE, South Korea -- The base's official party simulates breaking ground on a new lodging facility during a ceremony Sept. 7 here. The ceremony highlights the base's new lodging facility currently under construction. The new facility, scheduled to open in July 2009, aims to "improve base morale by enhancing the quality of life for visiting Airmen," according to Col. CQ "Wolf" Brown, 8th Fighter Wing commander. The official party includes (left to right) Colonel Brown, Mr. Arthur J. Myers, Air Force Services director, Col. Timothy "Falcon" Sakulich, 8th Mission Support Group commander, Maj. Richard Mathews, 8th Civil Engineer Squadron commander, Maj. Sirena Morris, 8th Services Squadron commander, Mr. Gerry Castelli, Pacific Area manager for Toltest Inc. and Mr. Han, Tak Su from the Nara Construction Company.
