Sergeants Vickery and Filippone are maintainers with the 80th Aircraft Maintenance Unit. The 8th Fighter Wing is striving to do things smarter, especially with the entire Air Force having to now accomplish the mission with less. Implementing AFSO 21 ideas, the 8th Maintenance Group is implementing a time saving initiative where tool boxes will be kept in the hardened aircraft shelters (HAS) and consolidated tool kits have been standardized.
