1st Annual Veterans Day Memorial Ruck/Run

KUNSAN AIR BASE, South Korea-- Master Sgt. Tom Scheving, left, motivates his team mates, Staff Sgt. Jack Thompson and Staff Sgt. Ken Lett, as they approach the finish line of the 1st Annual Veterans Day Memorial Ruck/Run held here Nov. 17. Ten teams comprised of four members participated in a 10K march carrying 40- pound ruck sacks followed by a 1.5 mile run. Sergeant Scheving and his team are assigned to the 8th Operations Squadron.Teams from the Republic of Korea Air Force joined U.S. teams from Kunsan and Osan Air Bases for the competition in an effort to build teamwork and camaraderie.
