Flying Falcon

KUNSAN AIR BASE, South Korea -- Captain Joseph Drummond, pilot from the 80th Fighter Squadron, flies a training mission with an F-16 Block 30 over the South Korean peninsula here Jan. 9. The 80th FS will soon finish upgrading to F-16 Block 40s from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska under the Common Configuration Implementation Program (CCIP), which increases mission capability and combat readiness by utilizing newer air frames and avionics.
