Flouride anyone?
KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea- Staff Sgt. DeCarlos Black, an advance oral hygiene therapist for 8th Medical Operations Squadron, pours fluoride into a tray March 8. Fluoride is given to patients to prevent tooth decay and promote stronger and healthier teeth. March 7 to 13 is Dental Assistants Recognition Week. This week-long recognition ackknowledges the great work that dental assistants do throughout the year. Dental assistants play a crucial role in the Wolf Pack mission. They work alongside the dentists, taking X-rays, managing the office and educating patients on proper oral hygiene. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jonathan Steffen)
