KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea Staff Sgt. DeCarlos Black, an advance oral hygiene therapist for 8th Medical Operations Squadron, uses a Cavitron to maintain the oral health of Senior Airman Clifford Roberts, 8th Maintenance Squadron, March 8. Staff Sgt. Black cleaned and gave advice on the proper care in the prevention of tooth decay during Airman Roberts' visit. March 7 to 13 is Dental Assistants Recognition Week. This is a weeklong acknowledgement of the great work that the dental assistants bring to the Wolf Pack dental health care throughout the year. Dental assistants are crucial members of the Wolf Pack team. They work alongside the dentists taking X-rays, managing the office and educating patients on proper oral hygiene.
