KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – Staff Sgt Wesley Kory, 8th Civil Engineering Squadron, explosive ordinance technician, wearing a protective suit prepares to x-ray a suspicious package with the RTR-4 digital x-ray system during exercise Beverly Bulldog 10-02 July 12. The RTR-4 system is designed to help law enforcement, military, customs and security personnel search for explosives, weapons, narcotics and other contraband. The system can reveal the contents of parcels, baggage, boxes and crates among other things and is very helpful in the successful recovery of suspicious items left behind at a scene.
