Army equips Kunsan’s medics with medevac training
KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Members of the 8th Medical Group prepare to run their patient to a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter during medical evacuation training here Sept. 19. The medevac training focused on cold and hot loading, which is loading patients onto the helicopter with the rotor off for cold loading, and on for hot loading. Army flight medics from Camp Humphreys visited the Wolf Pack to familiarize the medics with the medevac concept. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Rasheen A. Douglas)
