Call for fire training
A servicemember with the Republic of Korea Army uses a computer-based program to identify and call in enemy targets to a simulated AC-130H Spectre gunship, Aug. 29, 2012, on Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. In both real world and training scenarios, all radio activity to a gunship is conducted in English, which requires international students to adopt and maintain a specific vocabulary to communicate with the aircraft’s operators.
