Bear, a licensed service and therapy dog, arrived at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, in August 2019, with his owner, Jim Hess. Hess, Kunsan AB’s Military and Family Life Counselor, is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Jim Hess, Military Family Life Counselor, has been a licensed marriage and family therapist for more than 20 years and maintains a license in Tennessee. He arrived at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, in August 2019, with his licensed service and therapy dog, Bear.
