Chaplain assistants play vital role in religious accommodation
KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Tech. Sgt. Matthew Teets, the NCO in charge of Kunsan’s chapel, carries religious items through the sanctuary Aug. 4 to set up at the altar. In addition to their own faith, chaplain assistants are trained on religious pluralism -- a basic understanding of the world's major religions, including Christianity, Catholicism, Judaism, Islam and Buddhism.
