What he did:
Tech. Sgt. Anthony Harris performed in an outstanding manner throughout the week with several squadron and base-wide projects. Harris chaired the Installation Security Advisory Group subcommittee, where he hosted six organizations and created a benchmark program to gain accountability of all U.S. contractors working on base. He created a comprehensive in-processing checklist and coordinated with several agencies to close loopholes and ensure the Wing Information Protection Office is able to track and validate contractor clearances. He also played a pivotal role in the 8th Mission Support Group change of command ceremony by establishing a free zone in the restricted area and ensuring free entry for numerous attendees who did not have restricted area badges. Additionally, Harris was selected and superbly served as the master of ceremonies for the 8th SFS COC. His oratory skills and ability to adjust and adapt ensured a smooth transition throughout the ceremony. Furthermore, Harris volunteered as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator facilitator during the wing's training day. His keen leadership stimulated positive feedback from the group of 11 Airmen he led through scenarios, films, and discussions to help mitigate the Chief of Staff of the Air Force's top concern. Finally, Harris volunteered nearly four hours of his off-duty time to assist in teaching Republic of Korea air force servicemembers English, as well as serving as an usher during Chapel services on Sundays.
