Letter from the her Commander:I would like to recommend Tech. Sgt Jennifer Mason from the 8th Services Squadron for the Pride of the Pack Award. Sergeant Mason's hard work and dedication is the epitome of "Service Before Self". From her first moment on Kunsan Air Base, Sergeant Mason has made improving the Quality of Life for the Wolf Pack her number one priority. As the Manager of the Community Activity Center (CAC) and the Base Coordinator for all outside entertainment events, she oversees the success of all entertainment programs, operations, and facility improvements.

During her five months at Kunsan, she has ensured the success of over 40 trips and five major base wide events. The multiple tournaments and trips offered by the CAC are constantly under her review for continuous improvement to meet our customers' expectations. She and her team of one military and two Korean civilians plan and execute numerous entertainment events for the Wolf Pack. It is her responsibility to obtain, plan, coordinate, and execute every detail of USO, AFE, and other performers' shows on Kunsan Air Base. Her accomplishments include one of the most successful ROKtober Fests in years, two outstanding Holiday shows, and 7 AFE/USO performances. Her astute management of over 1.5 million dollars in equipment, and a 170,000 dollar entertainment budget, along with her constant oversight of all programs, events, and daily operations has made the CAC a place that all Wolf Pack members enjoy.

Since arriving at Kunsan, Sergeant Mason's hard charging work ethic has ensured every Airman, Soldier and civilian are provided the best programs, events, facilities, and customer service possible. She has spearheaded all the new renovations to the CAC music room, upgrading the game room, and is finalizing plans for the upcoming renovation of the CAC during the month of January. Her effective coordination with Civil Engineering, Logistic Readiness, Loring Club, and Fitness Center staff has ensured each event set up, performance and tear down is seamless. Furthermore, she has maintained a one million dollar Wolf Pack Wheels program that allows Airmen to travel to different destinations across the peninsula. During this time she also ensured a 100 percent accurate inventory on over five thousand dollars in retail goods. Her dedication expands beyond her work and into her personnel time where she has volunteered many hours to different base programs such as A-Cubed and the Services Advisory Council.

Sergeant Mason rises above the standard as a Non-commissioned Officer and continually mentors those around her. Her outgoing personality and attention to detail have made an undeniable impact in her squadron and the 8th Fighter Wing. She dissolves all challenges and obstacles to ensure the quality of life for all on Kunsan Air Base continues to meet the expectations of the Wolf Pack. Sergeant Mason has proven that she is dedicated to the Airmen on the base and has earned the Pride of the Pack Award.
