118 Wolfpack Airmen selected for promotion

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  With the Air Force posting the largest virtual promotion list, Wolf Pack members plan to recognize there promotees a whole different way. 

The Air Force Personal Center posted the third major enlisted promotion list using the new web-based process June 26, at 8 a.m. Central time. More than 12,000 Airmen were selected for promotion to technical sergeant and master sergeant. Here at the Wolf Pack , the promotion results meant 118 more leaders to help mentor Airman and to better execute the mission. 

"Promotion means a great deal of opportunity and responsibility is going to come their way, they are going to be the ones who are fostering, nurturing and encouraging the younger airman," Said Chief Master Sgt. Cathy "Wolf Chief" Johnson, 8th Fighter Wing command chief master sergeant. "More leadership, mentorship and career opportunities lie ahead for these individuals."

The Wolf Pack Top 3 organization will be sponsoring a promotion party at the Loring Club June 27 at 4 p.m. to recognize and congratulate the wings promotees. 

"This is going to be an incredibly special day for our promotees," said Chief Johnson. "The ranks of technical sergeant and master sergeant are very big accomplishments. Everyone should be proud of our promotees and their accomplishments."
