Reason for nomination: "Sergeant Johnson rose to the occasion when he led a team of seven personnel in replacing a 1.7-million British Thermal Unit heating boiler for a senior NCO dormitory. His can-do attitude and leadership led to this monumental task being completed five days ahead of schedule. His actions ensured 59 senior NCOs will have heat for the upcoming winter season and saved the Air Force a $50K prime vender installation cost. Being able to accomplish a job of this magnitude in the amount of time it was completed, is the reason I believe Sergeant Johnson is the Pride of the Pack." - Master Sgt. Reginald Curry, 8th CES HVAC NCO in charge
