Wolf Pack members were treated to a Korean children's choir performance at the base theater Dec. 19.

The Daejeon City Korean Children's Choir was invited to Kunsan by the base chapel to bring holiday greetings to Wolf Pack personnel for the holidays, said Chaplain (Maj.) Timothy Porter, wing chaplain.

"It was really a privilege for us to be able to get them to come here to share at our base," Chaplain Porter said. "We're really grateful that they could be here to ring in the holiday spirit with us."

The Far East Broadcast Company's 50-member Daejeon City Korean Children's Choir sang, performed fan and drum dances, and dressed in traditional Korean outfits during the show.

Yim Kwon-Mok, choir maestro, said the elementary-school-aged children practiced twice a week for long hours before a performance.

"The FEBC children's choir is very famous in Daejeon, Korea and all over the world," Mr. Yim said. "I was very happy with the performance."

Members of the audience seemed very happy, which was evident in their smiles and laughter after the event, and their expressions of excitement and warmth.

"It was just awesome, they were inspiring and exciting and it just warmed your heart," Chaplain Porter said.

"It brings joy to my heart, especially during the season of Thanksgiving and Christmas," said Tech. Sgt. Roberto Rodriguez, 457th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron.

"I liked all the singing, and I was singing along," said Carson Locke, son of Lt. Col. Joseph Locke, 8th Operations Support Squadron commander.

Col. John Dolan, 8th Fighter Wing commander, thanked the group for coming.

"I just speak with everyone here and for all the Airmen who are stationed at Kunsan, what a wonderful choir you have," he said. "What a set of talented young boys and girls who have set a theme, especially this time of year. That lightened our hearts. Realize the door is always open; you can always come here and perform, we'll always be here to enjoy the great talent of your choir."

Choir members said they were just glad to perform for the audience.

"I want everybody to enjoy this time and to give them a special memory," said Yim Sun-Young, vocalist.

"I like to sing and make people happy," said Yu Sung-Bin, performer.
