Wolf Pack welcomes newest senior master sergeants

The 8th Fighter Wing welcomed 13 Airmen to the rank of senior master sergeant following the Air Force release March 10.

The Wolf Pack Warriors selected for promotion are: Master Sgts. James Bradley, 8th Maintenance Squadron; Kevin Carter, 8th Civil Engineer Squadron; Vincent Giannetti, 8th MXS; Jon Hadler, 8th FW safety; Francisco Hernandez, 8th CES; Lance Hopping, 8th Force Support Squadron; Stanley Leigh, 8th Operations Support Squadron; Jennifer Mastan, 8th OSS; Patrick Piazza, 8th Logistics Readiness Squadron; Phillip Pugh, 8th CES; Virginia Storm, 8th OSS; Robert Turnbow, 8th MXS; and Gene Viele, 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.

Air Force officials selected 1,274 of 12,378 eligible master sergeants for promotion to senior master sergeant, for a selection rate of 10.29 percent. The average score for those selected was 665.57, with an average time in grade of 4.30 years and an average time in service of 19.76 years.

The complete senior master sergeant promotion list is available on the Air Force Personnel Center's website and Air Force Personnel Services website under enlisted promotions. Airmen also can access their individual score notices on the Virtual Military Personnel Flight and Air Force Portal.

Those selected for senior master sergeant will be promoted according to their promotion sequence number beginning in April 2011.
