Kunsan's 'Take It North' bowling lanes open following roof repair

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- The "Take It North" bowling alley opened here March 18 after being closed since January 2010 when the roof collapsed under the weight of snow. Personnel from the 8th Fighter Wing's Wolf Pack were on hand for the ribbon cutting and watched as wing leadership rolled a ceremonial first ball down the lanes. The new bowling alley, run by the 8th Force Support Squadron, has 16 new lanes and offers ball and shoe rental for patrons seven days a week, excluding holidays.
