Best thing you've done here: The best things I have done in Korea was get out into and experience the culture and hospitality of the Korean people.

Reason for nomination: "On April 8, Airman McDonald was dining at the Community Activities Center, when he was encountered by an Army private from Camp Stanley, ROK. The private had just come back from emergency leave in the states and was trying to get back to Camp Stanley, but had no funds or information on how to do this. Airman McDonald tried contacting the private's home unit at Camp Stanley, then walked him over to Kunsan's Army ADA building for assistance, but found it closed due to the late hour. So Airman McDonald brought the private back to his shop, where he was able to get in contact with one of his NCOs. Once travel arrangements were agreed on, Airman McDonald arranged billeting for him out of his own pocket and purchased a bus ticket to Osan AB for him. He then picked the private up in the morning and made sure he got on the bus. Airman McDonald represented the Air Force professionally, when he went above and beyond to help out a sister service member and truly is the 'Pride of the Pack'." - Maj. William S. Bradley, 8th MXS commander
