Wolf Pack leadership received an orientation on the day-to-day lives of firefighters here June 27.

Wolf Pack firefighters are responsible for controlling and extinguishing aircraft, structure, wildland and miscellaneous fires partnering with allies to provide security and stability.

They are also tasked with protecting people and the environment from hazardous material and work in conjunction with other base agencies to ensure the 8th Fighter Wing can successfully complete its well-known mission in support of the Pacific Air Forces.

Leadership toured these facilities to get a great grasp on the working conditions and available equipment Wolf Pack firefighters have at their disposal for ensuring base safety.
