Last good movie you saw: Limitless Best thing you've done here: Since being here the best thing I have done is my TDY to Singapore. Reason for nomination: On July 18, Senior Airman Adam D. Labenne distinguished himself as the Pride of the Pack by fulfilling a moments-notice building security tasking while deployed to Singapore in support of Exercise COMMANDO SLING 11-3. Airman Labenne's leadership and commitment to the 8th Fighter Wing were proven when he stepped forward to repair a damaged door at the units Deployed Debrief Facility. Upon arrival to the facility, Airman Labenne immediately jumped into action devising a plan to repair the faulty latch system on the door. Realizing there was a lack of metal working equipment at the deployed location, Airman Labenne knew he would have to improvise with a bench-vise and hand tools to repair the latch. He single handedly designed, fabricated and installed a new locking mechanism on the Deployed Debrief Facility door. Airman Labenne's actions saved the day for the Operations Group as they were relieved of monitoring the facility 24 hours a day. Furthermore, Airmen Labenne's ingenuity allowed the pilot's critical crew rest which saved the Operations Group from cancelling two lines of sorties per day. The singularly distinctive accomplishments of Airman Labenne merit recognition as Pride of the Pack.
