8th MDG receives new commander

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  During a change of command ceremony June 15, Col. Jill Scheckel assumed command of the 8th Medical Group from Col. Alvis Headen III.

As commander, Scheckel is responsible for all medical support to a combat-ready fighter wing through the full spectrum of operations by delivering preventive health services and outpatient medical care to more than 2,600 active duty personnel.
