D-Pad DFAC cooks up hot meals for flightline crews

The new D-PAD Dining Facility celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Oct. 12. By providing a place for Airmen who work on the flightline to eat, the Air Force will save more than $200,000 in basic allowance for subsistence and dissuade Airmen from turning to fast food for their meal options.
