What he did:
Staff Sgt. Joshua Reyes greatly contributed to the armament flight as a maintenance floor supervisor, with his superb maintenance knowledge and outstanding management skills. His efforts led to an impressive 100 percent data integrity error free rate for the 8th week in a row while upholding the flights overall 100 percent quality assurance pass rate. Reyes was instrumental in identifying a trend in damaged LAU-129 missile launchers. He removed four launchers from service, which had the potential of inadvertently dropping an AIM-9X, AIM-9L/M or AIM-120 missile during flight. The information collected was critical to resolve questions from the equipment engineers. He also salvaged parts from unserviceable launchers and ensured four others were fully mission capable, preventing the 8th Fighter Wing from falling below the LAU-129 Minimum Essential Listing, securing the Wolf Packs combat edge. Finally, Reyes oversaw eight personnel and the repair process of 15 critical aircraft equipment assets, while training one NCO and two Airmen. This training enabled two personnel to become 100 percent fully qualified. He also ensured the readiness of two Airman 1st Class for their 5 level end of course test. Reyes coordinated and utilized munitions and trailers from weapons standardization section giving the Airmen a visual representation of their career development course study material.
