Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea -- An Airman assigned to the 8th Fighter Wing was found unresponsive in a dormitory room at approximately 08:50 a.m. July 20, 2020, at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea.
Emergency responders arrived on scene and pronounced the Airman deceased 20 minutes later.
The name of the deceased will be withheld for 24 hours pending notification of their next of kin.
The incident is currently under investigation and further details will be provided as they become available.
