The 8th Operations Group is the backbone of the 8th Fighter Wing, providing the aircrews who fly the wing's F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. The 8th OG is comprised of the 35th Fighter Squadron, 80th Fighter Squadron and the 8th Operations Support Squadron.
A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22B Osprey assigned to the Marine Medium Tilt Rotor Squadron (VMM) 165, flies over Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Sept. 5, 2024.
