8TH OPERATIONS GROUP

The 8th Operations Group is the backbone of the 8th Fighter Wing, providing the aircrews who fly the wing's F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft. The 8th OG is comprised of the 35th Fighter Squadron, 80th Fighter Squadron and the 8th Operations Support Squadron.

Alternate surface, same Wolf Pack mission

A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 80th Fighter Squadron takes off from an alternate departure and landing surface at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Dec. 1, 2023.
