Colonel CASEY R. CRABILL

Colonel Casey R. Crabill is the Commander, 8th Maintenance Group, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. He is responsible for daily flying and maintenance operations, intermediate level maintenance, component repair, and maintenance training for a combat wing with 43 permanently assigned F-16 fighter jet aircraft. He controls and allocates resources, directs the activities of 1,100 personnel, manages an annual budget of 2.4 million dollars, and develops and implements plans to meet the wing’s operational taskings.  

Colonel Crabill enlisted in the Air Force as an Airman after high school.  After serving in the Air Force for twelve years, he received his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps at the University of Alaska – Det 001.  Colonel Crabill has led flightline and munitions operations in five different Air Force wings.  He has deployed worldwide as part of operations Deny Flight, Southern Watch, Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, Inherent Resolve and Odyssey Dawn. Colonel Crabill has commanded at the squadron level, as well as served in key staff positions on two Air Force major command staffs and at defense agency level.
