Colonel Lauren T. Guibert

Col Lauren T. Guibert is the Commander, 8th Mission Support  Group, Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea. She leads 1,400 Airmen in six squadrons that provide communications, engineering, materiel management, security, force support and logistics to 4,500 Airmen, Soldiers, family members and Korean personnel. Col. Guibert manages an $80M operating budget and is responsible for providing reception and base operating support for follow-on US forces at Kunsan Air Base and 3 US/Korean co-located operating bases across the Korean peninsula in support of the agile combat employment scheme of maneuver.

Colonel Guibert received her commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 2005. She has served in various squadrons and staff positions. Prior to her current position, Col. Guibert was the Logistics Building Partner Capacity Program Lead in the Logistics Directorate, USAFRICOM, Kelley Barracks, Germany. Col Guibert is a Master Logistician, Advanced Air Advisor Mission Commander, and U.S. Africa Command Foreign Area Officer. She is a fluent French speaker with regional and cultural experience in twenty-one African countries. She supported the Humanitarian Operation ALLIES REFUGE and has deployed in support of Operations IRAQI FREEDOM, INHERENT RESOLVE, ENDURING SENTINEL, and SPARTAN SHIELD.
