Vehicle accident Published March 9, 2010 By 010310 KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- Two U. S. Air Force Airmen and a Korean cab driver were injured in a vehicle accident off base at approximately 11:30 p.m. Sunday. One Airman is in critical condition, being treated at Won Kwang Hospital in Iksan. The other is at Gunsan Medical Center, and is in stable condition. The Korean driver was taken to the Gunsan Medical Center and treated for minor injuries. The two Airmen were passengers in a cab, returning from downtown Gunsan City. The accident is currently under a joint investigation by the Korean National Police and Kunsan Air Base officials. Details will be provided as they become available.
