Kunsan Airman death Published April 21, 2013 By 130422 KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- An Airman assigned to the 8th Force Support Squadron died Friday evening while swimming at an off-base pool. 1st Lt Josh Hovies' cause of death is still under investigation, but additional information will be released as available. "We are extremely saddened by the loss of one of our finest young officers," said Col. Douglas Nikolai, 8th Fighter Wing vice commander, "Our thoughts and prayers are with Lt Hovies' family and close friends."
