Specifically, De La Rosa’s efforts were integral toward assisting the 8th LRS’ Fuels Facilities team with accomplishing daily operational inspections during a manning shortfall. He performed 188-point inspections on a $64M fuels system, while operating the system to deliver 44,518 gallons of JP-8 jet fuel to 13 allied Republic of Korea Air Force assets, showcasing flight cohesion and the combined-interoperability between the U.S. and ROK armed forces.

Senior Airman De La Rosa also provided escort and operational support for five concurrent infrastructure projects which enabled contract deadlines to be met. This expedited the completion of a minor repair on two fuel fill stands that restored 900 thousand gallons of refueling capabilities. Moreover, De La Rosa’s support to recommissioning the fill stands alleviated manning constraints, saving 1,800 man-hours annually.

Thank you, Senior Airman De La Rosa, for your outstanding leadership and dedication to the Wolf Pack mission. Congratulations on being this week’s Pride of the Pack!
