The Seventh Air Force command chief, Chief Master Sgt. Thomas Schaefer II, visited the Wolf Pack at Kunsan Air Base here, July 28-30.

Schaefer's intent was to get updated on the base, see how the various unit missions have evolved and connect with the Airmen who support them. He engaged directly with Airmen to better understand the challenges they face and the success they achieve.

Leadership briefings, lunch discussions, immersion demonstrations and an all-call provided the Wolf Pack Airmen an opportunity to receive mentorship from Schaefer.

Engaging directly with the Wolf Pack allowed Schaefer to gain insight into the unique culture and missions at Kunsan, while he reinforced the importance of leaders being present, informed, and invested in Airmen who are the future of the U.S. Air Force.
