Letter from her commander:
I would like to recommend Tech. Sgt. Kristi Wilson from 8th Mission Support Squadron for the Pride of the Pack Award. Sergeant Wilson has made a positive impact throughout the wing and community from the time she arrived at Kunsan Air Base in August 2007. She serves as the NCO in charge of, personnel employments and readiness, where she is directly responsible for all base inprocessing actions. Her first priority is ensuring all Wolf Pack Airmen are in-processed expeditiously and ready to "Defend the Base."

Her  focus since arriving at Kunsan has been coordinating with 8 FW staff and base agencies to streamline mission essential newcomers' briefings. Through her tireless efforts, the four-day base newcomers briefing was reduced to one day, saving 63 man-hours per month.  Additionally, Sergeant Wilson identified United States Forces Korea Theatre Specific training duplications and provided guidance to the 8 FW and USFK IG inspectors. She established a precise tracking mechanism to ensure the Wolf Pack complies with USFK regulations. Upon her arrival, she immediately identified deficiencies in the base personnel reliability program (PRP) and conducted a 100 percent audit on PRP assignments, ensuring members are PRP certified. Finally, Sergeant Wilson's influence can be felt base-wide in areas ranging from FTAC/NCOPD mentoring to emceeing the wing promotion ceremony.

Sergeant  Wilson is the benchmark for the exceptional noncommissioned officer and continually sets the example for others to follow. Additionally, she is actively pursuing her Community College of the Air Force degree and completing her Course 14. She  has had a deep and lasting impact on the Wolf Pack and is deserving of the Pride of Pack Award.
