November: Wolf Pack musters record low Articles 15

KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea --  Non-judicial Punishment under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice, provides commanders with an essential and prompt means of maintaining good order and discipline. It also promotes positive behavioral changes among service members without the stigma of a court-martial conviction. An Article 15 may be imposed for a variety of offenses at the commander's discretion.

A staff sergeant from the 8th Medical Operations Squadron received an Article 15 for one specification of drunken misconduct - discredit to service. For this action, the staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the rank of senior airman, 10 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for one specification of larceny - non-military property less than $500. For this action, the staff sergeant received a suspended reduction to the rank of senior airman, forfeiture of $150 pay per month for two months, 30 days extra duty, 30 days of restriction to Kunsan Air Base and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 8th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron received an Article 15 for one specification of dereliction of duty - smoking in his dormitory room. For this action, the senior airman received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman first class, forfeiture of $150 pay per month for two months, 20 days extra duty, 20 days of restriction to Kunsan Air Base and a reprimand.
