F-16 accident, pilot safe Published Dec. 3, 2012 8th Fighter Wing Public Affairs KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea -- An F-16 Fighting Falcon ran off the runway today, Dec. 3, 2012, at approximately 2:15 p.m. at Kunsan Air Base. The pilot is safe and sustained no injuries. An official accident investigation will take place to determine the cause. Additional details will be provided as soon as they become available.
